Dr. hc. Bernard W.H. Jennings, MASS, CLMS, FSCCM - is the Founder, President & CEO of the New Biscayne Gardens Chamber of Commerce, Inc. a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 organization.  The New Biscayne Gardens Chambers mission is to enhance economic growth of the Biscayne Gardens area by focusing on education, promotion and development of the business community, and those areas of the community affecting business.  He holds a 2-14 life including variable annuities, and legal insurance license in the State of Florida and the State of Texas and is authorized to write policies in all 52 States of the United States.

Mr. Jennings is an expert Loss Mitigation Specialist (CLMS).  He is certified by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and he is Certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a  Civil/Circuit Mediator.  He has helped many individuals and families refinance and modify their home mortgages and their homes and/or save their existing homes from foreclosure.

A life-long Democrat, he is a former Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Democratic Party and is presently an elected National Delegate for the 24th Congressional District of Florida and member of the Democratic Executive Committee.  He is an elected Committeeman for Democratic Precinct #239 and the elected District Leader for District 5 in Miami-Dade County.  He was a Volunteer Coordinator for  President Barack Obamas' UsaService.org and ChangeForAmerica.org initiative.  He was previously a Super Volunteer Coordinator for the presidential campaign.  IKJ Governmental Affairs Consulting Services a division provides business consulting and political consulting services to candidates and elected officials in their campaign bids for public office.

His Not-For-Profit work includes his involvement as; Chairman & President of the Northwest Dade Optimist Club, Inc., Chairman & President of the Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Committee, Co-Chair of the North Miami Senior High School Class of 87 Reunion, Inc., and past member of the Board of BMJ Community Development, Inc . He has served on the Miami-Dade County Mayor's Marketing Council, the City of North Miami Mayor's Economic Task Force (TF-101), and as a former Liaison to the Governors Commission for a Sustainable South Florida. Mr. Jennings is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He has received numerous honors and awards; such as a Key to the City of North Miami, the distinction of Who's Who Amongst Executives and Professionals, Who's Who Amongst Black America, Outstanding Young Men of America to name a few... The Royal Family of the Busmaru Famin Stool in Ghana, West Africa, named him an Honorary Prince Nana Yao Boakye -. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration from Florida Memorial College (University) in Miami, Florida and his Masters of Applied Social Sciences in Public Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.  He has three children and lives and works in North Miami-Dade county.
